GENIUS HOUR

Reviewing our notes

This term we have introduced Genius Hour. This is where children get to inquire about a topic of their own choosing once per week for one hour only! 

Room 12 kids have thought about what they're interested in and then highlighted what they are passionate about. After identifying their passion - and topic for inquiry - they developed an inquiry question they could research. They are currently gathering and synthesising information from a range of sources.

The goal is to create and share a presentation with the class in Week 8.....keep an eye out for their presentations. Megaladons to Cancer Research to Forensic Science to Animal Communication - the door is wide open for learning in Room 12 :)
